Hers are the hands that touched me first, caressing me like a precious gem.Hers are the eyes that saw me through it all– good or bad, she saw and guided me through.
Hers are the ears that lovingly heard my every woes and rants– no matter how petty they are.
Hers are the lips that wisely gave me the words I need to get me through to every ups and downs.
She, who has tirelessly and unceasingly forgiven me for all my trespasses, shortcomings, and irrationality. She, who believed in me and never once doubted my abilities and choices. The one who supported me in all my decisions, dreams and endeavors– no matter how far-fetch they seem to be.
The BFF I can always run to. The rock I can always lean on.
The wind beneath my wings. The confidante I can always trust.
Her perseverance, determination, wilfulness,
generosity, simplicity, together with her compassionate, forgiving, and
uncritical nature– all molded me up to become the person that I am now.
Though differences in opinions, ideals, and beliefs characterize our relationship, the bond, concern, love, and respect we have for each other never ceases.
To mom: Thanks, mommy! If not for you, Bryce and I would never be
who we are right now. You did a wonderful job in being the Ina-Tay
at times when dad is not around. I couldn't ask for a better mom.
Just remember: In sickness and in health, through richer or poorer,
in good times and in bad, you can count on me to always be here.
Rest assured: All the things I'm doing right now, it's all for you,
dad, and Bryce.
