Remember,
God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called. And He’ll always
be there to love and guide you on to great things. Life is more
accurately measured by the lives you touch than the things you acquire.
A
realization that I bumped while I was browsing the web. Lately, I have
been too caught up with so many things I wanted to achieve and do in my
life that in the end, I fail to see and feel God’s presence in my life.
I
was too caught up with my worldly wants that I lost track of the reason
on why I do the things I do. I know I wanted to explore the world in
its entirety, I want to capture it with my words. I want to be able to
make others aware about the disparity and injustice that the
marginalized and discriminated have to face each day in their lives.
But then
again, I lost track of who I am and where I am going. I became a slave
to my worldly desires. What was once an endeavor made to make me closer
in achieving my dream now became a tool for me to become more selfish
and discontent.
So, when the
lure of the world is just too much, remember: What we can accomplish on
our own is hardly noteworthy. We try our best, but the results aren’t
exactly graceful flowing music. But with the hand of the Master, our
life’s work truly can be beautiful.
Allow Him to guide the course of
your life. Put down your guard, let your walls crumble down and don’t
worry, believe that what He wants for you and will be giving you is
nothing less than the best. Because that is what He really intends to
give you… if you’d only believe and surrender.
